Laura Singer is a social worker with more than twenty years of experience in non-profit management and leadership. Laura earned her B.A. from Illinois Benedictine College and her A.M. from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. She has focused on homeless services and housing issues at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, The Living Room Café, Inspiration Corporation and Hands To Help Ministries. She also has been active in the women’s ordination movement in the Roman Catholic Church and is the former board president of the Women’s Ordination Conference. Laura lives in Chicago with her husband and three children.
